Who we are

This site is operated by Rank Visibility (TODO — registered address, Kolkata, West Bengal, India), a marketing agency offering search, advertising, automation and AI training services. In data protection terms we are the controller for the information described below. Our contact details are at the foot of this page.

What personal information we collect

We only ask for what a specific job needs. In practice that falls into four groups.

Information you give us

• Enquiry and contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, company name where relevant, and whatever you write in the message field.
• Course bookings: your name, email address and phone number, so we can send joining details and a receipt for a paid seat.
• Email, phone and WhatsApp: anything you send us directly, plus the message history of that conversation.

Payment information

Card numbers, UPI IDs, bank details and anything else used to pay never reach our servers. Paid course seats are processed by Razorpay, who take payment details directly on their own systems. We receive only the outcome — an order reference, the amount, whether it succeeded, and the name, email and phone you entered at checkout.

Information collected automatically

• Server and security logs: our host, Cloudflare, records the IP address, browser type and country of requests to the site to serve pages and block abuse.
• Analytics and advertising: if you consent (or you are browsing from a region where consent is not required), Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel record how you arrived, which pages you viewed and which buttons you clicked. Details are in ourCookie Policy.
• Approximate location: the country and city your request comes from, resolved from your IP address by Cloudflare. We use the country to decide whether to show the cookie banner, and the city to understand where course bookings come from.

Information from client work

Where we run search, ads or automation for a client, we may process personal data held in that client's own accounts and systems. In those cases the client is the controller and we act as a processor on their written instructions. This policy covers our own site and marketing; the client's privacy notice covers their customers.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

Who else sees your information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use a small number of service providers to run the business:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security for this site.
• Razorpay — payment processing for paid course seats.
• Zoho Bigin — the CRM where business enquiries are worked.
• Google (Analytics) — website analytics, where you have consented.
• Meta (Pixel and Conversions API) — advertising measurement, where you have consented. Email addresses and phone numbers sent this way are hashed with SHA-256 in our own systems before they leave; Meta never receives them in readable form.
• Email and WhatsApp providers — to hold and deliver our correspondence with you.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Where your information goes

We are based in India, and our providers operate globally, so information may be stored or processed outside your own country — including in India, the United States and the EU. Where data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on our providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent approved safeguard.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client and course records: for the length of the engagement, then up to 8 years, which is the retention Indian tax law expects for financial records.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
• Server and security logs: short-lived, typically days rather than months, per Cloudflare's own retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done before you did. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 gives you comparable rights, including the right to nominate someone to exercise them on your behalf.

Grievance officer

For complaints about how your personal data has been handled, our grievance officer under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and the Information Technology Rules isTODO — full name, reachable atcontact@rankvisibility.com.

If we cannot resolve it, people in the UK can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, people in the EEA to their national supervisory authority, and people in India to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS everywhere. Payment details never touch our systems. Access to the CRM and analytics accounts is limited to the people who need it and protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you and the relevant authority if a breach is likely to affect you.

Children

Our services are sold to businesses and working adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when what we do changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
