If you’re a local business and you’re not in the Map Pack, you don’t exist.
The Map Pack sits above the organic results. It takes most of the clicks, calls, and direction requests for any “near me” or city search, and for most service businesses it drives more revenue than the website does.
Yet the profile gets treated like an afterthought. Someone set it up three years ago with a wrong address, five reviews, and a category nobody chose on purpose. We treat it like the channel it is: measured, optimised, and reviewed every month. It’s also the engine behind your wider local SEO.
What we actually do
Profile setup and cleanup
New profiles, ownership claims, suspended-profile recovery, duplicate merges. The foundation nobody wants to redo but usually has to.
Category and attributes
Primary category (the single biggest relevance lever), secondary categories, attributes, and service-area settings.
Map Pack ranking strategy
Geo-grid ranking reports, competitor analysis, and a monthly plan to move your position across the target radius.
Review management
Automated review requests via WhatsApp, SMS or email, responses within 24 hours, and disputes for fake or policy-violating reviews.
Google Posts and content
Weekly posts for freshness signals: offers, events, updates. Run on a content calendar, not ad-hoc.
Multi-location and citations
Centralised management for 5+ locations, plus name, address and phone consistency across Yelp, Bing, Apple Maps and industry directories.
A couple of things we’ll push back on
Reviews are the fastest lever. Nothing moves local ranking faster than a steady flow of recent, responded-to reviews. We put disproportionate effort here because the return is disproportionate.
Primary category is the single biggest decision. Most suspended or under-ranking profiles have the wrong primary category. It's almost always the first thing we fix.
How we work
Audit Week 1
Profile audit, geo-grid baseline, and competitor benchmarking.
Fix Week 2
Categories, descriptions, services, photos, hours, and attributes.
Optimise Weeks 3–4
Posts live, review flow activated, Q&A seeded, citations cleaned.
Maintain Month 2+
Monthly reporting, posts, review management, and ranking monitoring.
Three ways to work with us
One-time GBP optimization
A fixed-scope audit, cleanup, and optimisation. You get a properly set-up profile, an active review flow, and a playbook. Best for single locations maintaining it in-house.
Monthly GBP management
Ongoing posts, reviews, ranking monitoring, and continuous optimisation. Three-month minimum. Best where local search drives meaningful revenue.
Multi-location local SEO
Dedicated management across 5+ locations with centralised reporting and consistency enforcement. Best for brands where per-location drift costs rankings.
